What is integrity???

INTEGRITY

Definition: Brandon Abbott. Integrity comprises the personal inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from honesty and consistent uprightness of character. The etymology of the word relates it to the Latin adjective integer (whole, complete). Evaluators, of course, usually assess integrity from some point of view, such as that of a given ethical tradition or in the context of an ethical relationship. People who for instance said bad things about their own grandmother might appear to lack a form of integrity. Let me just tell you that I married the best man in the world. Brandon works so hard to provide for his family. No matter what happens, how difficult some people can be, and let me tell you in this buisness you run into all kinds..:) part of the buisness... he LOVES what he does so he will not let anything or anyone stand in his way of doing a good job and upholding a good and honest name in this community. Pastor Minnicks' message last night was especially encouraging or maybe a bit heart pricking to us both. This life will soon past, only what is done for Christ will last. You have to work hard and provide for your family, but is everything that you stick your hands into necessary for you and your present life? Is it? really? No... we have made many mistakes, financially, spiritually, and personal. As I am sure most people have. But the Lord will help us and He will see us through all circumstances. We all have many lessons to learn in this life time. No one is perfect. That is why the Lord does allow us to fail and then allows us to come back to him. The Lord is so good to us. Brandon and I have never gone without and Lord willing by His grace never will. We have such a good church and pastor to provide us with spiritual understanding of the Bible. Our parents are amazing and support us in so many ways. This blog entry was just meant to simply be an encouragement to myself in thinking through things, a blessing to others to let them see how the Lord does provide for us, and most of all to thank the Lord for such a godly man that he allowed me to marry, and such a godly father he is to our girls. Thank you Brandon. I love you and I am behind you 110 percent no matter what. You are amazing!

Many of you ask what exactly is it that Brandon's does? Well, he builds custom homes. He has clients that come to him, he contracts out a house for them and then builds it from the ground up. Many of you don't know about our website. abbottbuildersinc.com I am going to post some pictures of recent houses that he has completed on here. They are gorgeous! I am so proud of all his accomplishments in the last 3 years and we have 5 houses on the books right now that he is working on for clients. Go Brandon! One of his first houses!

Houses in order first one is off of Villa Road, house off Hwy 25, Silver Ridge Farms, River Oaks, near down town Greenville, our house..:)Lake Hartwell, Spec home in Greer. He has completed some other houses but these are the main ones for now!! Hope you all enjoy, especially Grandma Powell!!!:)

2 Two year old appointment..

Today Aleeza had her 2 year old appt. Thankfully she did quite well. We talked it up all morning. My mom came which was a great help. She was able to watch Olivia and I took Aleeza back. She checked out wonefully!! Finger prick and all. She weighs 26 lbs! No problems! She did quite a bit of crying but when Chic- Fil- A was mentioned at the end she was fine! I am glad my mom was able to go with me and help out. We had fun at Chic fil a! Thursdays are " Nana day"! We look forward to having many more but hopefully with no doctors visits!

SISTERS...

Fourth of July!!!

I hope everyone had a good fourth of July! We spent the afternoon at my parents and then went to church and then off to down town with the rest of Greenville to see the fireworks display. They were really good. We had good time at my parents. Aleeza had been there since Sunday so we were glad to see her again. She always has such a good time over there. Dad has a huge garden and Aleeza loves the tomatoes in it! She is my tomato girl! She eats them like an apple. We had fun eating watermellon and enjoying the swing!

Catch up..

Wow... we have been really busy. Brandon closed on another house this week but is in the process of signing three more contracts with clients. The Lord is good. He truly has brought the work in for us. Brandon has been working so hard and I just want to yet again say what a wondeful husband he is and wonderful father. Although so busy he still takes time for us. This past Saturday night on the whim, we had marrissa and KK come babysit and we went out.. we turned into little kids and went to Frankie's fun park and had the best time! Then at 10:30 at night went out for pizza.. can you believe we were up that late.. it was fun! It was nice just to get out and have some time to ourselves. It was much deserved time for Brandon. He is the best! The girls are really good. Olivia is starting to smile and coo which is so adorable. Aleeza is with Nana and Papa for three days! She has been having a blast with them. I have been able to catch up on some different chores I have been wanting to do so that has been nice! Hope everyone is well.

Cruel but different..

We are guessing our neighbors were on vacation last week but when they came home they came home to the following. Someone had wrapped their house in "crime scene" tape and had white traced bodies in the driveway... granted when we first saw it our hearts sank thinking something had happened.. but atlast it was cruel practical joke.

My cousin the babysitter...:)

Kendrea has been starting to come over on Fridays for me and watch the kids.. :) It gives me a break to focus on the buisness and not worry about doing it everyday but save it till Friday.. and I get to run errands and do some shopping. It has been nice. Of course Aleeza is enjoying to the fullest!

Friends...

Aleeza is really starting to pick up on the whole friend thing. My friend Cindy had to come up to Greenville recently so the kids were able to stay with us for a while.. Aleeza loves RA-RA and Beas and "Elmo" ( Eleanor)... We miss them but are happy for them!
