Thank you Aunt Bonnie

This was the best picture Daddy could get of me... but I love the dress.. :) I wore it to church Sunday morning.. Thank you

Saying goodbye

Last night for Memorial Day we had our good friends the Cheathams over. They left today for Atlanta. It was sad to see them go. Aleeza has become attatched to Cindy's kids especially Ra-Ra. ( Robert) We had a lot of fun last night though. We will miss you guys!!! Andrew took a internship in Tucker, GA.... for a year. We hope all goes well!

My parents and Cindy's parents were also here for the fun. Later the Bundy's stopped in. Here are some pictures of all the kids having a blast on the play set.

Meeting the rest of the cousins....

The Bundys' came over the other night to meet Aleeza.. it is always a joy to see them hold her... they are so sweet to Aleeza and Olivia. I know that one day Olivia will run up to them with as much excitment as Aleeza does right now and love them to death. Aleeza gets so excited when I tell her they are coming over... for those of you who dont' know these are Brandon's cousins. His Aunt Colleen is his mom's sister.

New Play House....

We have been waiting and thinking for a while what to get for Aleeza for the outside. She loves to play outside and we try to make frequent trips to the park to play but with Olivia here it is harder right now to get out..... Brandon went and found the ideal play house and swing set... :) Now, the rest of the story.. he bought it and figured it would take a few hours to set up.. hahah...

he can build a 400,000 house but a swing set man... well literally you had to put every piece together and of course nothing was labled. So in order to have it done for our Memorial Day get together he spent 10 hours working on it and finally got it all put together. Aleeza was a huge help... she was so cute taking boards to him and saying.. "ank you daddy.." = thank you daddy. It was a huge hit last night and a huge hit for Aleeza.. :) What a great daddy... I am so thankful he is handy and can do things like this... We love you daddy!!!

Also Aleeza figured that Olivia needed a hat while she was outside.. :)

Just an update...

We are doing great... Olivia is doing so well... Mommy is SO proud of her.... Aleeza is doing good too.. She is adjusting great to have the little one around. We are looking forward to Olivia being old enough to actually play with Aleeza and so is she I am sure. :)

Here are some cute pictures of them... :)

Funny girls..

Update on Olivia

The past few days have honestly been heaven. We are loving every moment of the two of them. Aleeza is such a big help and is loving the new sister. Last night was so peaceful with Olivia. Due to my nursing problems last time, I put a lot of prayer into being able to due it this time. The Lord has really been good. Olivia went to bed at 9:30 and started what we call squeaking around 2. She wasn't really crying, but I fed her anyway. Around 5 she started again, ate a little and went right back down. Sleep is very important these days so that is so nice when they just go right back down. Praise th Lord.

Aleeza has been quite the big sister. She loves to hold her and help me change diapers... have to train her early. :)

Meeting some of the cousins... :)

Here we are with our cousins. Aleeza spent the day with Cassie, K.K and Kyla. She as you all knows loves loves loves them. They were able to meet Olivia when she came home. Aunt Colleen and Marrisa had come by the hospital but Mommy failed to take pictures. Now we just need to meet the rest of them. :)

Nana and Papa

I want to give a big public thanks to my mom and dad for all their support this past weekend.I know it was a long weekend for them with Aleeza but I know they had a great time. Thanks for all your support and your midnight visit to the hospital the night Olivia was born. I was glad you were able to be there even though I didn't see you. Thanks for everything! My kids are so blessed to have great grandparents and great great grandparents.

our visitors

Thank you to all who visited... for those of you who weren't able because of my determination to come home early...sorry.. i did come home on Monday around 3...yep, surgery Saturday at 9 after laboring for 24 hours and home on Monday...I feel great... thank you for you prayers.

More pictures...

Olivia Kate Abbott

Olivia Kate Abbott was born May 19 at 9:33. The story a bit long.... I went into labor Friday night around 7. Around 2:00 on Saturday morning I told Brandon it was time. We drove to the hospital and my worst nightmare came true. "sorry Mrs. Abbott you are only at a 1" NO... but Olivia's heart rate kept dropping when I would have a contraction so due to the fact I had already had a c-section and my labor pains were getting rough, water broke they kept me. Well, to make a long day for me short, I was in labor all day Saturday. Same story as Aleeza, apparently my body will only dialate to around 5 and then stop. I sat at a 5 for about 7 hours and my contractions started giving up. So around 8:30 Brandon, I and the doctor decided to go ahead with the c-section. The Lord knew our hearts but for some reason it was just not meant to be. Within an hour we had a beautiful baby girl. My two request all along had been no c-section and that I would be able to nurse. Well, she is what I would consider the perfect nurser and perfect baby. Thank the Lord for doctors and for the wisdom in making these descions. I am very thankful for a very healthy baby and for a loving husband who stood by me for close to 24 hours and for my parents who were in and out during those 24 hours and who kept Aleeza for us. Also thanks to our wonderful cousins the Bundy girls who jumped right in on Saturday evening so mom and dad could come to the hospital... now what everyone wants.. pictures.. :)

Chocolate Milk, white shirt and Mc Donalds

Today was the waiting game for me.. :) So Aleeza and I have tried to stay busy all day.. I took her to Mc Donalds' for lunch and let her play on the playground for about an hour. She loves other kids and loves to play with them. Well.... right after she started eating her lunch.. I am still not sure what happened but she was drinking her chocolate milk and next thing I know the choc. milk is on the ground and she is on the ground, on her back drenched in milk, all in her hair all over her face and on her white Gap shirt.. Nice.. nice... We had already lost the skirt this morning due to Brandon finding her in the bath tub with the water running saying " look Daddy, water on.. water on.. " SO.. I let her play with a chocolate stained back and sticky hair and she had a blast. She especially enjoyed the fact that she got to take a bath in the middle of the day when we got home. What a sweetie.. :) Well, we are still waiting.. :)

Kids' Planet

Aleeza loves to go to the park and swing and play... "play , play mama" that is her favorite thing to say when she sees a swing.

Still waiting....:)

Well, today is the due date so we will see what the Lord has in store. I did go to the doctor on Tuesday. I never really like what I hear. They will no induce me since I have had a c-section, so my options are slim. If the baby has not come by Monday they will be scheduling c-section for next Friday ( a week from today). So between now and then please pray the baby will make her appearance and that I will be able to have a natural birth. This is the heart's desire of Brandon and I. If I go into labor and end up having a c-section that is fine, I just want to know that I tried again. So please pray for us in the next few days. Aleeza is going to spend the weekend with Nana and Papa again so we are hoping for something this weekend. Thank you for your prayers.

Still in limbo..

As of this morning still no action.. :) We are still waiting and continuing our days with some what of a normal routine. I am not miserable yet just ready to stop wondering when it is going to happen. I have a docotor's appt. this morning so we will see what he says. They actual day is the 18th- Friday, but Aleeza was 4 days early so we were really hoping for something a few days early.

We have decided to take our house of the market for now until Feb. or March. Brandon and I are very excited about this. The constent not knowing what was going to happend was driving us crazy. Now we can just settle back in. We are going to invest in some fun playground stuff for Aleeza and her new sister, a sandbox and Brandon wants to get her a jeep for the back yard so that will be nice. We also need to get another pool as the weather is getting warm again.
Yesterday we spent fun morning at breakfast and then the park with my good friend Cindy and her kids. I am very sad to say that they will probably be moving soon. Although we don't see each other every day it has been fun to get together especially now that our kids are old enough to play and see them play together.
Brandon joined a indoor soccer team and Aleeza and I were able to go and see him play last night. She was so cute watching her daddy play and yelling "go Daddy". Brandon did score the winning goal for his team last night, even shot it with his left ankle.... because he sprained his right one the week before. Go daddyy!!! Oh yeah, he has also taken up golf. He is playing in a big tournament this Thursday with the Home Builders Association. He has been practicing up on his strokes.. Aleeza likes to hit balls with him too in the backyard which is really cute.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Newest Aleeza adventure

Lately we have just been exploring everything.. cute at times:) The latest thing has been dragging all of my bathing suits and undergarments out of the dresser and putting them all on. She thinks that is great. Aleeza can count to 10 and say A- G.

Also we were very happy to see Aunt Bonnie this past weekend but sad that I didn't take any pictures.. what was I thinking.. apparently I wasn't.. due to this pregnancy.

Big girl bed!!

Yes I am really late posting this one... about 3 weeks ago Nana went shopping with us and helped us purchase this gorgeous big girl bed. Aleeza has done absolutley amazing with the transition. She has only gotten out of bed twice in 3 weeks and that was right after we put her down.. but it was cute.. the first time Brandon was watching TV and she came running in the bedroom and said, " I watch TV" Brandon was like " nope, bed time.. " It was funny. She calls her bed the big bed and the crib the baby bed.. Speaking of baby.. time is ticking and we are waiting.. paitently.. the doc was going to check for dilation yesterday but I said no.. I would rather just wait and let it happen and not get my hopes up.. :) Anyway everything else is good.. very very busy.. trying to get caught up on paperwork and ahead on bills before the baby is born.. Hope everyone is well.
