Busy, Busy, Busy

Today was a very busy day. There was lots to be done around the house. I try to keep it "spic and span' everyday not knowing when someone might want to come in and see it. That is hard with a one year old. Today my chore was to scrub the baseboards.... yeah!!! I managed to get them all almost spotless. I actually had quite fun, Aleeza tried to help but ended up getting dirty water all over the floor... oh well, she had fun and that is all that matters.
During her nap, I decided to mow the lawn. Brandon has been so busy lately so I got out there and did it. It really doesn't take much time and looks tons better. Since our hard rain the grass grew so fast! Thankfully there was a nice breeze.
Brandon came home later tonight. They are working hard to finish the house up at Lake Hartwell by August. Things are coming right along. They are getting ready to do the roof. The Lord has given his guys and him much strength to work hard and quickly. Since daddy was coming home late Aleeza and I headed off to the mall just to get out of the house. We ate supper at Chic Fil A, Aleeza's favorite new place to eat and just did a little shopping. She loves to ride in her stroller. Her latest thing is yelling really loud and waving at people and especially children. She just loves kids. I bought her a cookie and needless to say it was chocolate chip and well it got all over her, and of course this is the one time I didn't bring the wet wipes. Oh well, she looked like a little rag muffin but it was so cute and yet again she had so much fun chowing down on the cookie. Well, daddy is home now so we are going to relax. He has had a long day and is very tired. Hope everyone is well!!

Welcome Home Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Grandma and Grandpa got back tonight from being in Israel for two weeks. They had lots of stories to tell but it was late so we only heard a few. They brought me back a giraffe carved from olive wood. It is very beautiful. Grandpa had me in stitches throwing my bow up in the air and catching it. Sometimes late at night I find things really funny. I am glad they are back and safe. We missed them lots!! I love you! Aleeza

Welcome home mom and dad. We are glad you are back and had a great time. We can't wait to see all your pictures and hear all your stories! We love you all so much.
Have a good nights rest.

The sun is out and we are happy

The sun is finally out. We needed the rain we got but it is good to see the sun again. The Lord always knows exactly when we need the rain. We have a lot of cleaning up to do though in our yard. That should be fun.

Aleeza and I went out this morning for a morning walk. This is Daddy's new toy and I think Aleeza likes it too. The other toy Brandon had a run in with on the first day of using it so it is being fixed and should be back today. We are happy that the Lord has allowed us to persue this buisness of building custom homes, landscaping, and grading. There is so much work to be done!

Oh yes and one more thing..... as many of you know our house if for sale. We are in no hurry to sell. We have had it on the market for 6 weeks and lots of interest. I think once the back yard is sodded and finished then it will sell fast. We are thinking of just building across the street. There is a nice little creek that runs in the back of the yard. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us.

one of my favorite pictures of the month.. ok two or three of them

This is a picture of Lianna, Landon and Zachary hiking Table Rock. When Brandon's Parents were down they hiked to the top, Mom, dad, brandon, Aunt Colleen and these three. I volunteered to stay with the cousins, neice and Aleeza.... we had fun.... At times I think we might have had more fun than these guys. We rode the George at the Pavilion the mini train, went to the playground and to Mcdonalds and went swimming.. we have fun. I had my hands full with the twin boys, who are 6 , Kyla -4, Kenzie- 5 and Aleeza-1. It was great!!!

My smiling beauty with clips- Thanks to Auntie Bon Bon for these.. we love them.

Daddy showing Aleeza the horses. Fun fun.. we had a family reunion a few weeks ago and this is what Aleeza was most interested in the whole time. :) Their conversation went something like this" hey Aleeza I want one of these, let's go ask mommy want she thinks?" "great daddy she will say yes if I ask her"....... mommy said not this year maybe next year!

Rain, Rain , Rain and other backtracking events...

For the past three days we have had a down pour.. not complaining though we drastically needed it. The Lord is good. Brandon had the day off and is running around doing some errands. He is trying to find a trailer for his new toys... :) will post pictures of them later. He has started a new division of his company called Abbott Landscaping and Grading. He is already booked with two weeks worth of work. The Lord is good!!

Aleeza is doing well, napping right now. Grandma and Grandpa come home on Wednesday from Israel so that will be fun.

Aunt Lianna left yesterday after being here for two weeks. I know she is ready to get home. We had fun with her though. Aleeza says hi! Just a little back tracking. Grandman and Grandpa Abbott suprised us two weeks ago and came down for Aleeza's 1st birthday. What a treat! This is the grandbaby with all the grandparents. It was so nice of them to come down.
Here is Aleeza chowing down on her first birthday cake also.....
I have lots more pics to post just give me time.. hope you all enjoy this!!
